Rothery, a Vancouver native, made her first television appearance at age 18 in the CBC Halloween Special Boo. It was at this time she decided that her place was in front of a camera.
Since then she has had recurring roles on Smallville, Kyle XY, The Guard, Martin Mystery, Beggars And Choosers, The Chris Isaak Show, Traders, Viper, The X-Files, The Commish, Davinci's Inquest, First Wave; and guest roles on the series Eureka, Supernatural, Psych, The Outer Limits, and the FOX series Profit.
She has had lead roles in the television movies Totally Awesome, Amber's Story, Quarantine with Nastassja Kinski, Race Against Fear, Hunt In Full Cry with Rosanna Arquette, Dead Man's Gun with John Ritter, Badge Of Betrayal with Harry Hamlin and Michele Greene, Deceived By Trust with Stephanie Kramer, Tailhook with Gail O'Grady and Hal Holbrook, and the miniseries Soul Survivor with Billy Zane.
She has also appeared in the feature films Whisper, White Noise 2: The Light, Coffee Diva, Warriors of Virtue, Magic In The Water with Mark Harmon, Mastermind with Patrick Stewart, Andre with Keith Carradine, Exhuming Mr. Rice with David Bowie and The Company Man with Brian Bosworth.
