Stay of Execution

"Morale" isn't a word I thought I'd be using in my everyday vernacular. But I can now tell you one situation that doesn't really do much for it. Impending death. That tends to bum almost everyone out. Watching a select few being granted a pardon has the similar effect. So say hello to some of my new extended family. It's strange to look around at these people and think how many of them I don't actually know that well. But some day soon one of them may save my life. Or maybe I'll save theirs. How about that Mom? Someday, I might save a life! Or screw something up and accidentally kill them all. Well, crap. That's depressing.
