Five Minutes

Cody from Billings, MT asks:  How long would it take you to go crazy on Destiny in real life?

Brian J. Smith answers:  I would have been useless within five minutes. I think 98% of the general population would curl into a ball and give up if they were in this situation.

I’d Call It Eden

Nathaniel from England asks:  In the episode “Faith”, the team found an almost perfect planet to live on, but it has no name.  What name would you give it and why?

Jennifer Spence answers:  I think I'd call it "Eden" because it seems it would fit with the episode title and theme-wise. Also cuz it's my middle name ;)

Hole of Nothing

Robert from Perth asks:  When you're shooting a gate scene, do you imagine it's real? And if so, do you get nervous before walking through it?

Elyse Levesque answers:  I try my best to imagine that it's really happening, but it can be tricky to believe you're walking into a wormhole when in fact you are stepping through a big hole of nothing!

Running Around

Stevie from England asks:  If you had to choose to play a different character on the show, who would you want to play and why?

David Blue answers:  I'd never do any of the characters as much justice as the people who already inhabit them. I'm always in awe of my castmates. But I think it'd be fun to play Scott because I'd get to do a bit more of the running around, jumping, shooting, etc. Or Rush. He's so intricate and fascinating as a character.

Character Story

Oren from Tel Aviv, Israel asks:  If you were director for one day and could make one episode of SGU, what would it be about?

David Blue answers:  If they'd have me, I'd love to direct for them one day. It'd be an honor. Really, I love the scripts so much, I'd take just about anything as a challenge. But a nice character story would be probably the most interesting for me. I don't know if I'd be good at directing a lot of space action.

Maybe A Ferret

Frances from Sherman Oaks, CA asks:  What kind of pet would your character like to have with them on Destiny? Does your character have a pet on Earth that they’re missing?

Elyse Levesque answers:  Maybe a ferret. No pet back on Earth as far as I know, but mom has probably replaced Chloe with a cat. I know I would.
